"The Church has always considered Catechesis one of her primary tasks, for, before Christ ascended to His Father after His resurrection,
He gave the apostles a final command - to make disciples of all nations and to teach them to observe all that He had commanded...
At the heart of catechesis we find, in essence, a Person, the Person of Jesus of Nazareth, "the only Son from the Father...full of grace and
suffered and died for us and who now, after rising, is living with us forever. It is Jesus who is "the way, and the truth, and the life," and Christian living consists
in following Christ."
Pope John Paul II

We meet at the Sunday, 9:00am Mass, during the Liturgy of the Word. Our Session begins in October and ends in May. This is a supplemental program, not a replacement for Religious
Education. . We minister to children of various ages in a way that they can understand the Gospel message. We present a craft project with the message for them to have a hands on,
visual and concrete image of the message which they can take home to reflect on and evangelize others. This is to help open and cultivate readiness of the heart to hear the Lord's word.
