Baptisms are Celebrated on the Second and Fourth Sundays of the month at 12:30 p.m. 

Baptism for Infants & Small children (6 and under) is celebrated on the 2nd & 4th Sundays of the Month at 12:30 p.m. Contact the parish office at 410-686-3085 or email [email protected] for a Baptismal Registration Packet. Children who are over 6 years of age and wish to be baptized should be enrolled in our religious education program. Please contact our Religious Education Office for more information.

The following are requirements that must be met by at least 1 of the godparents of the child to be baptized. The Godparents / Witnesses are to assist the parents and child baptized in leading a Christian life and in fulfilling the obligations associated with Christian living. Only one Godparent is necessary, two are traditional, one man and one woman.  In order to be a Godparent one must: 

1. Be a Practicing Catholic (Registered Member of a parish and must attend Mass Regularly). 
2. Must be at least 16 years of age.
3. Have Received the Sacraments of Baptism, Eucharist, and Confirmation. 
4. If married, must be married according to the Canons of the Catholic Church

1. Must be at least 16 years of age
2. Must be Baptized in a Christian Church 
3. Must be a practicing member of a Christian Church.

In order to have a baptismal application approved, there is some necessary documentation that must be provided.

• A copy of the Birth Certificate of the Child to be Baptized 
• A copy of identification of the Godparents/Witnesses (can be a driver's license or even passport) 
• If the Godparents are married according to the Canons of the Catholic Church, a copy of their marriage certificate is requested. 
• A copy of the Godparents/Witnesses Baptismal Certificate is requested. 

Upon the approval of the baptismal application, it is required that the parents & godparents/Witnesses attend a Baptismal Preparation Class. We ask that applicants verify the contact information provided on their applications is accurate in order be contacted for the scheduling of the Baptismal Preparation Class. Classes are normally given via Zoom during the evening.
